I started writing these blog posts because I needed something to keep me creative. I used to make beats and that was the one fasho, I still get the itch to make some every once in awhile so maybe one day I'll get back to it. Now though, I decided to give writing a try cause it always made me feel like I was "emptying" my thoughts. These posts to me feel like more of a stream of consciousness anyway but either way still helps.
I feel like if you were good in your English classes then people might have the same "writing bug" as I do. I remember most of my English teachers being impressed with essays I did, always had something to say. I hated English though.
Hopefully my mom don't read this, but at a certain point I stopped doing homework and English homework was definitely not getting done, unless it was a book report or a essay. I might've just been a good bullshitter, but nonetheless when it came to creative writing I always got a good grade on those.
I'll never forget the day when my English professor in college made me come see her after class to talk about one of my papers. I thought I was in trouble, but really she wanted me to do better. She knew I was better than what I was writing and she wasn't wrong lol. Still passed the class though.
What really did it for me was music though. When I started making beats sometimes I would freestyle to make sure other people could find a flow or a cadence. My thought process was "I'm not a rapper, so if I could find one then they could too." But then I started writing verses and I was getting good, atleast I think so. Let me find something real quick...

"But now I'm tryna get to the cheese

It's different types of cheese like provolone

Bruh lol...
If you reading this, find your creative outlet no matter how good or bad you think you are at it. I think we all need one. It's healthy. Keep your mind creative, its only one person that can express or think the way you do.
There's only one person that sees the world the way you do!
