I'm not sure how to start with this one, but I love perspective. Helps me understand. Gives me a point of view away from my own to see things how other people see things.
"Put yourself in their shoes"
I don't say this often but I apply this phrase whenever I don't understand why somebody is doing or not doing something. I might not get the right answer but like I said it does help me understand.
You know how sometimes you and another person might not see eye to eye? Maybe you guys value different things or the things that y'all have as a high priority are not the same? When I was younger I could never understand why people might not fuck with they parents. Especially they mom. I would say the reason why is because my mom showed me love. I wont get too in detail about my dad but shit him too. Now that I've grown since then, at least a little, some people don't get shown that love and its unfortunate, but I understand now you feel me? Some people don't grow up with their parents, shit some people don't get shown what love is at all. So you see what I mean by perspective leads to understanding and understanding leads to treating people better!
It's helped me be more of an empath.
Its helped me give other people insight.
It's helped me in relationships.
Tell me why the way you are so I can understand you better, you feel me lol.
I'll be real though some stuff I just don't understand and I'm sure that applies to other people too. The difference with me though is, as long as you're not doing any physical harm, mental manipulation, or some type of emotional damage to a person, I'm not judging lol. Some people do wild stuff intentionally and some people do wild stuff cause they not all there. If you doing fucked up shit intentionally, do better.
Now have I done fucked up shit intentionally, maybe lol.
Did they deserve it? Maybe.
Am I better than that though, sometimes lmao.
All I'm trying to say is, if someone is having a lack of understanding to you or what you going through. Or if you having a problem understanding something. All that's needed is a little perspective switch in my opinion. You can't go wrong with it. And if they still not understanding, welp. Hopefully the perspective sticks though and at some point you'll/they'll understand.
